Over the 4th of July 2009, I suffered a cervical neck injury to my C6 and C7 vertebrae. After undergoing a spinal fusion, I spent 10 days in intensive care at the MED in Memphis, Tennessee. From there I was transferred to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia where I underwent roughly four months of rehabilitation.
